  • “We had a very pleasant 8 night stay on this very well maintained site which felt especially secure with its gated entry. There is an excellent choice of pitches all offering fully serviced hard standings with adjacent grass areas. The chemical toilet emptying point was well designed and situated away from the pitches. We particularly liked the two large ponds and the wildlife that inhabited them. There were some good early morning walks just off the site for our dogs and plenty of other places to walk in the surrounding countryside after a short drive. As NT members, we were spoilt for choice for nearby places to visit and Hastings with its excellent fish and chip shops (!) and really freshly landed fish is only about a half hour drive away. Puri, the owner, was very accommodating when we had a special request and we cannot speak highly enough of the whole setup - thanks, Puri, we will be back again soon!”

  • "Oaklands Farm is a really quiet site set in beautiful countryside. There are country walks directly from the caravan site. We hiked across fields, woodland and vineyards to Bodiam castle. Bedgebury Forest and Hemsted Forest are good for mountain biking and are easy to reach via roads from the site. The local Tesco store is a 10 minute car drive away at Hawkhurst. There are a number of National Trust properties in the area too. We found plenty to do but equally enjoyed relaxing at the caravan pitch. Mark and Puri, the site owners were great… very welcoming, helpful with tips on places to visit and considerate. We definitely will return at some point!"

  • "Stayed for 2 nights end of February and the site was well maintained and secure, away from the road yet very close to the village and numerous footpaths. Lovely healthy looking ponds with water and electric on every pitch. Very welcoming and friendly, will definitely be back in the summer when I'm sure it will be a haven for nature and wildlife."

 FAQs

  • We allow well behaved dogs on site but unfortunately due to the large, deep ponds in the campsite we do not allow children at this time.

  • Each pitch has its own 16amp electric hookup, this is included in the per night cost.

  • There is a local petrol station and a morrisons local just a short 5 minute walk from the campsite. There is also a Spanish restaurant in the village.

  • Earliest Arrival Time: 1pm

    Latest Arrival Time: 7pm

    Latest Depature Time: 11am

  • Unfortunately we only allow CL members, please share your membership number with us when making your booking.

  • There is currently no electric charging on-site, the nearest charging point is Hawkhurst petrol station. A 5 minute drive away.

  • We have a chemical toilet disposal point in the campsite itself as you enter on your right hand side.

    For disposing of rubbish and recycling we have bins by the gate.

    • Green bin for general refuse

    • Brown bin for cans, glass and plastic

    • Green Box for paper and cardboard
